Adding books
Reading on Kindle
Kindle books come across through Goodreads, and highlights come from the Kindle app.
- Open Settings → Import & sync and follow the steps under Kindle. Tap a step’s circle once you’ve done it.
- Connect Goodreads, link your Amazon account in Goodreads, and add your Kindle books to Goodreads.
- On your Kindle, rate each book when you finish it, so it’s passed to Goodreads.
- For highlights, open the book in the Kindle app, tap Notebook, then Export Notebook. Open the file in Pemberley, or tap Bring over highlights and choose it.
Only what Kindle passes to Goodreads comes across. Start and finish dates and ratings usually do. Page progress stays on Kindle.
