The home library app that keeps up with you

Scan a barcode and the book is on your shelf. Everything you own, everything you’ve read and everything you want, in one place.

The Pemberley Library screen

Scan your shelves in an afternoon

Point the scanner at a barcode and the book is there, cover and all. No signal in the basement? Scan anyway and we’ll find each book once you’re back online. Then put it where it belongs: Want, Reading, Finished or Dropped.

Your copy, your way

Rate in half stars, make Lists for anything you like, and pick the Top 5 you’d press on a friend. Got a different edition? Change the title, cover or page count for your copy. Any book can be kept private.

Know where every book went

Lend a book and Pemberley remembers who has it, with a reminder on the day it’s due if you set one. Borrowing one? We’ll nudge you the day before it goes back. And when a birthday comes around, share your Want shelf as a wishlist with an Amazon link for each book.

How it works

  1. Scan a barcode, or search by title or author.

  2. Pick a shelf: Want, Reading, Finished or Dropped.

  3. Rate it, list it, lend it. It’s all on the book’s page.

Questions

Does the scanner work offline?

Yes. Scan as many as you like and we’ll look each one up once you’re connected.

Can I track books I’ve lent out?

Yes. Add who has it and, if you like, when it’s due back. Lend to a friend on Pemberley and you’ll see how far they’ve read.

What if a book isn’t found?

Type the ISBN from the back of the book, or add it by hand with its title, author and page count. From then on it works like any other book.
